The Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art hosts seminars, workshops, and courses throughout the year by artists and local professionals. Our guest educators and presenters share their unique styles in their workshops and have a passion for teaching and their art. Below are some current workshops being offered through the WMOCA.
Potential Workshops and Lectures

Learn how to paint in oil with this four-week class.
Workshops generally meet at the museum once per week for four weeks (four three-hour classes) and start at $250 for the entire workshop. (We usually add a fifth session as a flex class in case you need extra time.) Each class can last up to three hours.
Brushes are an additional cost for the painting workshop (usually around $30).

Free to the public.
We will be discussing why are your photos blurry and the rule of thirds.
After that short lecture we will be taking questions from the audience on anything photo related.

This is be an audience guided lecture/informational session on what workshops you would like the Museum/Club to develop for the Wausau Area.
Topics can include:

still life drawing/painting

cutting board breadboard charcuterie board creation
how to epoxy
color theory
composition
intro to your own art business and many others!
